Hello Thom,
The hotel staff did not "know" of the special rate
when I made my reservations either, but they took
my word for it and made the reservations anyway
much to their credit. This was on a weekend.
I called back on the following Monday and talked to
the person who handles the Conferences and she
promised that she would enter the special HHC rate
into their system. I have not followed up and I
assumed that she kept her word.
I also checked other "rates" to be sure that we had
a good rate and we did.
I will try to remember to call the hotel tomorrow
to verify that they have their system "activated."

This is not about SF.
I just tried to book a room at the Radisson but the person I talked to
did not recognize HHC. I was put on hold with music for about 30 sec.
and then silence for 5 min. This happened to me in the Spring and I
missed
a conference because of this not recognizing the "group." Has anyone
been able to book and if so what are the magic words?
Thank you
