There is really not that much to see in San Francisco. It is a dying city
because of powerful labor unions and radical politics. Dirt and trash
everywhere, many homeless, and pandemic HIV infection. San Jose and
neigboring cities are now the industrial, financial, and technological
center of the bay area. From my place to San Jose is a 5 1/2 hour drive.
>From your location, it could be under 5 hours. A radar warning receiver is
a good investment, as the police do us the courtesy of broadcasting a
warning signal wherever they are working. Yes, it turned out that radar
actually benefits compulsive, habitual, criminal speeders like me.

Hello Richard et. Al.,
SF is San Francisco. We took a taxi from the Radisson hotel to the train
station in San Jose and then took the train to San Francisco. It was a nice
trip. I didn't drive to San Jose, I flew. I highly recommend it as a
(long) day excursion. A group of us went to a museum near the Golden Gate
Bridge. I don't remember its name. I took a lot of
Photos.
