I don't see how HP can move forward with calculators.  The idea of a
calculator is obsolete.   What we have now are integrated PDA's with cell
phones; the only thing they lack is programmability and the ability to
transfer files.   Perhaps there will be a market for a $1 machine made in
Bengladesh or Brunei by the sultan's harem slaves.

Hello Eric,

Is the HHC (and HPCC) list still available?  All tests I have made during
the last four months indicate that it is not. Here is the address I have
been using.

It would be very nice to be able to use it for planning HHC 2006 and HHC
2007 (the latter is the 35th anniversary of the scientific calculator, and
HP's as well).  HP is seriously moving forward and I see more excitement
recently than I have in the last five years.
