Keep in mind that American freedom of religion is in fundamental conflict with the First Commandment! And our freedom is not absolute. For example, those who want to worship Huitzilopochtli may not perform their “heart transplant of the gods” ritual at the top of the pyramid.

The Conference date is also dependent on factors other than what a person says is a religious holiday issue.

If a key worker is unable to participate we adjust. Free slave labor is hard to come by.

For non-US participants it should be kept in mind the religious relationship US citizens enjoy by our one-of-a-kind Constitution. We have a special respect for religious independence.

Don’t get me started on the religious topic of calculators because I have an electronics writing project to finish – which I am using as an excuse to build a few experimenters/test gadgets.

The photos, articles, and reports on these historical sites are especially nice.

Please note: Because I correspond with many people both in and outside of

HP, I treat my correspondence as public domain. If you have something you

would like to be kept confidential, please indicate what it is. I will otherwise

assume that I may publish email related to calculators in HP Solve. If you

correspond with me you must specifically tell me if anything you say should

be kept confidential. Because HP Solve has a worldwide readership I would

also like to know where you live; Country and city.

Not for you and me, perhaps, but there are, on some years, for some folks. Examples were listed in my previous email.

... or are you are making a distinction between “holiday” and “holy day”? Oy veh, don’t get me started. Winking smile
