FWIW, he sent me much the same message last week -- apparently he thought 
I would know every program that had ever been written for every model of 
HP calculator... Alas I don't, and I couldn't be much help.

However, he told me that he _thinks_ the program may have come from a 
club journal. He also has _part_ of the program apparently uncorrupted, 
which might help in identifying it.
