Hello Everyone,
News From HP, November 10, 2002:
We are very excited and pleased to inform you today that the
new HP is formally re-launching its calculator business. We
also wish to confirm our commitment to this business and
reassure you that we are actively developing our calculator
product offering!
This fall, on November 1, we will formally introduce to you
our new "Strategic Touch" business model. In a nutshell, this
means enhanced sales support, tighter focus on you as our
partner, greater responsiveness and quicker product development-
to-market turnaround and delivery.
To support this model, we have set in place a dedicated worldwide
management team with expertise in all key business functions.
This team operates with "outsourced" strategic procurement and
enhanced partnering arrangements. We will be working with you
to ensure this new business model maps well against your evolving
needs.
For now, be confident that HP will continue to offer a full line of
both Algebraic and RPN calculators. Our best selling financial
calculators (HP12C and HP10BII) will continue as important parts
of our product offering, together with our HP30S scientific model.
We are also currently developing a new range of graphing calculators
to enhance the following: HP38G, HP39G, HP40G, HP48G,
HP48GX and the HP49G. As we make this exciting transition together,
we are pleased to offer you an extraordinary "one season" opportunity
to purchase our outgoing products.
As we move closer to November 1, please log onto this url and share
in our excitement!
