Hi!

I have written to Blondel, and he said that my email
has been forwared to European manager (wasn't he
supposed to be European manager?)...

About the annoucement, there is a word that says it
all: "outsourcing". I study industrial management, and
it is the same word here, it is part fo the "new"
vision for management.

About using "us" as partners, it is clear that this
community is well known for the amount of ideas they
could have and the knowledge you have about. And if
they want to start right, they should take care with
your thoughts.

And we have a similar situation in Microsoft using
advanced users as "partners". There is a figure in
Microsoft, called MVP (Most Value Professional), that
is not a Microsoft employee, but promotes Microsoft
products in his country. As reward, he gets discounts,
special products offers,... The MVP are people known
in their countries by their Microsoft product
knowledge. I know the Spansh PocketPC MVP, and he
started as "windowsce" fan doing a website.. Now, he
travels to European PocketPC meetings and those kind
of business. How Microsoft use him as "partner"? Well,
his website is a reference for PocketPC info in
Spanish.

Sure, we will see more news before the end of this
month, I am sure. Maybe 26th, we will see more...

Best regards,
