I don't think they're committed to that. At the conference it was
suggested to them by some attendees that they *should* be committed
to that, but I don't recall them stating as a fact that they are or
will be committed to it.

I guess you don't eat at Arby's, because if you did, you'd know from
their (old?) slogan that "Different is good." Apple tells us to "Think
different" (is that proper grammar?), but they pressured a religious
organization (devil worshippers or some such) into removing the
"created with Macintosh" logo from their web site, so apparently it's
possible to think *too* different.
